We are happy you are here. We are passionate about the wellbeing of mothers and their children in Uganda. We leverage the use of advanced technology to tackle some of the pressing needs in healthcare in resource-limited settings.

According to Uganda Demographic Health Survey(2016), it is estimated that the maternal mortality rate is at 368 deaths per 100,000 live births so - approximately 15 pregnant women dying every day due to direct causes like haemorrhage and hypertensive disorders compared to 438 deaths per 100,000 live births in 2011 (UDHS 2011)

According to UNICEF, approximately 81 babies will die each day before reaching their first month; 96 stillbirths occur every day in Uganda.
HOW WE ARE TAKING ACTION TO REDUCE THIS BURDEN IN HEALTHCARE
Through our virtual platforms, telemedicine tools such as mobile phones and social media pages, we are creating a global movement of change-makers, doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, leaders in healthcare, social entrepreneurs, innovators, thinkers, investors, community members and governments to revolutionise healthcare through applied research, and innovation. We believe appropriate digital health technologies and home healthcare will reduce this burden and the emotional and financial burden in these communities.

Our Telehealth infrastructure that is currently in existence since 2020 will enable our team and partners to deliver drugs, medical supplies, and all essential sundries needed by mothers during the entire antenatal journey until birth. We have partnered with clinics in 4 districts now to help us with procurement and logistics of pharmaceutical products and Telemedicine. We work with Obstetricians, Pharmacists and Paediatricians to coordinate virtual follow-up visits and monitor utilisation of our Telehealth services.

We have launched this program and we are calling up on volunteers to assist us in research, strategy and impact assessment tools to help us accelerate growth to achieve our goal of reducing maternal mortality rate.
